Mrs. Mansfield's Middle Ground

As part of their English language arts class, all students will be required to engage in regular journal writing.  The journaling should be completed as homework. Students are required to complete two separate page-length entries as homework each week, to be turned in every Friday.  The entries may be on any subject that is appropriate for school. Writing regularly helps build writing fluency, gives students a chance to explore and reflect, and is a safe place for students to write without fear of "the red pen."  Write on!

Thank you for attending our Open House.   I appreciate your time and interest.

If you were unable to attend, your child will be given a course syllabus and Student Handbook.  Please ask them to review these items with you.

Your child's education is my primary concern.  Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.
